Is there a minimum contract length?
No. You can cancel your subscription whenever you like from your collector dashboard.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New collectors start free for 30 days with everything in Premium. Before the trial ends, you choose Starter, Pro or Premium on the payment page – nothing is taken until the trial ends. Scrap yards and skip hire businesses get 30 days free too. If you subscribe to Premium or Enterprise straight away, your subscription starts when you subscribe.
How do you compare to other lead services?
Some directories charge per lead or ask for long contracts. Every Scrap4Free plan is a flat monthly fee, however big the job – and you keep 100% of the scrap value.
What’s the difference between the plans?
The number of postcode zones you cover and how you hear about new jobs. Starter covers 1 zone and Pro covers 3, with new jobs by app notification and email. Premium covers 10 zones and also texts you every new job. Enterprise gives you unlimited zones and exclusive territories. You can change plan any time – just contact us.
How quickly will I start getting jobs?
As soon as your plan is active, you get the direct bookings in your chosen postcode zones. For Premium and Enterprise, the extra Google and Facebook marketing starts within 5 days. You can see current jobs on the live job board.

Do I need a licence to collect scrap metal?
Yes. In England and Wales you need a scrap metal collector’s licence from the council for each area you collect in, plus a waste carrier registration, before you start collecting.
